Overall a fun game so long as you can put the time in to learn what you are doing, if you want a quick blast this is probably not for you. I found the AI pathing to be a bit of a pain so when in a vehicle if you just click the ground for where you want it to go it can get stuck, especially if there are a lot of damaged vehicles about, however you can micro manage individual soldiers and vehicles basically driving them yourself to get around most obstacles. Each soldier has his own inventory and weapon preferences. Lots of different weapons both light and heavy with different stats and uses. It is realistic game play in as much as soldiers run out of ammo, need to reload can be bandaged up, search crates, dead bodies, move bodies so as not to be discovered and drive vehicles.
The game is not that easy to get into and needs commitment to play well, trying the stealth part of the game was for me frustratingly tricky, but there are a wealth of things to do. I've only been playing the single player campaign so far and the first thing I've noticed is that you start in North Africa which is a change for the usual European campaigns for this type of game.
Another advantage is that you get a paper manual which is handy when learning the game for key references etc. Firstly you need steam to play this, this pack just allows you to install it quicker than a download, just insert the disks and put in the key code when required and your away.
